As the Spring Equinox passes and we stretch towards the Summer Solstice, this time of year is when we typically set and sow the seeds, both literally and metaphorically, for the future harvest.
Over the last four years, as Write Coach Ireland, it has been and continues to be my privilege, to work with some amazing and inspiring people from around the world, who have all plucked up the courage to share the story of their own unique journey.
When will you write yours?
The path is littered with difficulties. And writing a book isnt easy otherwise we would all do it. While everyone comes with a unique and different narrative, I have noticed certain patterns which can emerge, and throughout my work guiding and helping clients to navigate a path through writing about overcoming narcissistic abuse, emotional abuse, physical, sexual and mental abuse, as well as unhealed trauma, family trauma and multigenerational trauma.
Through this work, it occured to me that a book which I could share with both existing and prospective clients, might be important and useful.
Not just what to expect, in terms of obstacles or roadblocks, such as procrastination, self-sabotage and imposter syndrome, but issues which recur for everyone, including personal identity, authenticity, accountability and personal authority.
Indeed, The Power of the Written Word is therefore a guide as well as an insight, and can be taken and used in a constructive manner by anyone embarking on the journey of sharing their own, unique story.
Healing through writing, and Your Power to Heal through Writing is your divine capacity as a sovereign being. However, having a Write Coach to help navigate the difficulties one can expect to face, might be benficial.

Huge thanks to the amazing Dee O’Connor for helping me with the graphic design, book cover and social media graphics, and huge thanks to John Loftus at MidWest Mentoring, Spiritual Healer, author and therapist Gerry Browne, and narcissistic abuse specialist Mandy Kelly, who have all kindly made themselves available as guest speakers.
Like all my book launches, the event will be an opportunity to speak about the importance of mental health services.
